Who we are

For your garage account, we are the data controller. For your customers' booking details that pass through your MOTHQ site, your garage is the controller and we act as your data processor.

What we collect

Garage account details (your name, business name, email, phone, address and billing information). Customer and vehicle details submitted through your site (customer name and contact details, vehicle registration, and MOT or booking history).

How we use it

To provide your website, process bookings, send MOT reminders by email and SMS, provide support, and take payment for the service.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service: the DVLA and DVSA (UK government services) for vehicle and MOT lookups, Twilio for SMS reminders, Stripe for payments, and our hosting and database providers for storage. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active and for any period we are required to keep records by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to restrict how we use it. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number: ZC132905). If you have a concern you can also contact the ICO.
